To Our Supporters and Friends,

If there’s one thing this past year has reminded us, it’s that the heart of Work Skills Corporation (WSC) beats stronger than ever. FY 2025 was a year defined by creativity, connection, and courage—proof that when we invest in people, they rise, and so do we.

Across every corner of WSC—from our therapy rooms and classrooms to our art studios, homes, and production floors—you could feel the momentum. We leaned into innovation not for show, but for impact: bringing smart technology into our homes, wellness into our culture, and new ways to serve into every program.

We grew, we adapted, and we celebrated.

We expanded job placement and clinical services, brought mental health into greater focus, and watched WSC Cares become a living culture of wellness—supporting physical, emotional, and social well-being across our entire community. We embraced tools that make work easier, communication stronger, and services more responsive—because technology should serve people, not the other way around.

And we created with purpose. Our Artisan Corner artists were once again welcomed into major art shows throughout the state—and this year, they achieved something extraordinary: placing in the Top 20 at ArtPrize in Grand Rapids.

Their work stood proudly alongside professional artists from around the world, reminding us that creativity and inclusion are powerful equals.

But the real story of this year isn’t just what we accomplished—it’s who we are while doing it. A team that shows up for one another. A community that laughs together, learns together, and sometimes grieves together. People who remind us every day why this work matters.

Our therapy dog, Charlie, joined that story too—bringing smiles, calm, and connection wherever she goes. So did the residents using smart displays to manage their day, the staff integrating ethical AI to enhance access and reduce waiting times, and the families who celebrated growth and milestones that once seemed out of reach.

As we step into FY 2026, WSC stands strong, innovative, and full of heart. We’re expanding access to services, completing new sensory spaces, and deepening our commitment to inclusive technology that empowers independence and belonging. The work ahead is bold, but so is our belief: every person deserves the chance to live fully, work proudly, and belong completely.

To our participants, families, Board, staff, donors, partners, and community—thank you for believing in WSC. You are the heartbeat of this organization, an essential part of our WSC family, and together we will continue to build a future where compassion, creativity, and opportunity thrive side by side.

With heartfelt gratitude,
