Who We Are
For 50 years, Work Skills Corporation (WSC) has been helping people to optimize their potential.
Artisan Corner, the WSC art program, supports artists with the creation and sale of their artwork. The program promotes full inclusion of emerging and established artists into all facets of the community.
Artisan Corner gives artists a voice to share messages through their beautifully creative efforts. Participants produce paintings, fiber art, ceramics, jewelry, resin art, and mixed media.
Finished pieces are available for purchase at the Artisan Corner Boutique, located at 100 Summit St., Brighton, MI 48116 and online by clicking shop link above.
Each sale provides income directly to the artist(s) who made the art.

HARTLAND ARTWALK
October 2024
ST
Our up-cycled bottle-cap masterpiece, “Imagine,” earned the $1,000 Grand Prize at the hARTland ART Walk in Hartland—an incredible recognition of both creativity and craftsmanship. Built from nearly 5,000 pop bottle caps (and more than 4,000 in its earliest stages), this project also marked a meaningful milestone: it was the first time artisans Anna, Austin, Jasmine, and Ian incorporated power tools into their artmaking process. The result is more than an award-winning piece—it’s a powerful reminder that when people are given the right tools, support, and opportunity, they can create work that inspires an entire community.
