Staff support is provided for the duration of the training program.

How it Works

A Work Experience takes place at local businesses and offers individuals the chance to explore career interests whilte developing valuable job skills through hands-on vocational training.

It also helps identify each person’s strengths, abilities, and any potential challenges they may face in the workplace.

No Long Term Commitment

No obligation to hire; WSC provides liability and wages for the individual during the assessment period.

Short-Term Placement

Each individual works at your business for a total of 24 to 80 hours during the span of the training program.

On-Site Support

A WSC staff member remains on-site to train, evaluate and provide feedback.

Coordination

Business provides an identified point of contact for scheduling, job assignments, and feedback.

Our Staff

WSC staff backgrounds include master and bachelors’ educational degrees; experience in the areas of vocational rehabilitation, vocational rehabilitation counseling, teaching, social work, human resources, HR development of youth and adult services, geriatric services, certified brain injury specialist, business administration, staffing recruitment, psychology, service industry, and management.
