April 11 – Artist Reception 5pm to 7pm – each accepted artist and one guest may attend the reception at no charge.
Studio West Gallery hours are: Tuesday 12noon-6pm, Wednesday through Saturday 12noon-8pm Closed Sunday & Monday
Work must be picked up by artists on May 2 or May 3, 12noon-8pm,
Studio West Gallery cannot be held responsible for work left beyond this date.
A total of $450.00 in cash will be awarded for:

The juror will select the award winning entries upon review of the actual works of accepted art prior to the Exhibition.
Participation is open to all artists 18 years and older, living and working in Michigan, who have a disability. Only original work completed within the last 3 years will be accepted. Digital files submitted for jurying must be in jpeg format. Works in all media and mixed media are eligible. Due to the limitation of space, paintings and hangings must not exceed 5’H, 5’W, and under 20 pounds in weight. They must be properly and appropriately wired. framed and ready for hanging-no saw tooth hooks please. Sculpture dimensions must not exceed 4’ x 4’ and 15 pounds in weight. ALL WORK MUST BE FOR SALE.
There is a non-refundable $25.00 fee for up to 3 images/items. Entries must be received by February 22 to be considered.
RIGHTS AND REPRODUCTIONS
Studio West Gallery reserves the right to photograph and reproduce all accepted entries regardless of the copyright for the sole purpose of publicity.
DELIVERY FOR FINAL JUDGING
Accepted entries must be HAND DELIVERED to Studio West Gallery at 111 S. West Street, Brighton, MI. 48116. All accepted artwork must have a label affixed to the artwork with the following information: title, artist name & price.
A 40% commission will be charged on all sales made during the exhibition.
Studio West Gallery will exercise all reasonable care with your original work. However, its members, volunteers or anyone connected with the exhibition will not be responsible for loss or damage.
Submission of work to the juror shall constitute an agreement to comply with all conditions set forth in this prospectus. The juror reserves the right to reject any work not accurately represented. Decisions of the juror are final. All artists will be notified of the juror’s decision. It is the artist’s responsibility to deliver works of art to Studio West Gallery and for the prompt removal of art from the Studio West Gallery within the specified time period.
We ask that you do not submit art that reflects nudity, religious content, violence or illegal drugs.
How to Submit
- If you choose to submit JPEGS, please refer to the requirements in the Eligibility section.
- Please label your digital art file with the “title” and your name – for example: “Coexistence-Mark Smith”
- Your digital file must be a high resolution image of no less than 300 dpi – the higher the better.
- Your digital file must be less than 50MB in size.
If you choose to deliver your artwork and not submit JPEGS, please fill out the required information when you fill out the entry form.
