WSC Production is the backbone of our company, making it possible to change lives by providing job training and employment opportunities for persons with significant disabilities and other barriers to employment.
Our two production facilities in Brighton, MI are where we perform subprocess and subassembly work for businesses. Oftentimes, we find that a manufacturer may be creating a product and for cost effective reasons, they outsource a certain part of the product to us for light assembly, kitting, sorting, inspection and re-packaging. This saves money, and provides real work for our program participants to perform—and helps drive our mission of “optimizing potential.”

We are an ISO 9001 certified company with outstanding quality systems. WSC Production’s typical consumer is the manufacturing community; however, we have also performed a broad spectrum of work including collating consumer marketing information, digital backfilling, packaging batteries, building picture frames, electrical components, rework of existing products to specifications, light machining; visual, gauge, and microscope inspections, and more—all with exceptional customer service and satisfaction.

Work Skills Corporation is a private, nonprofit organization founded in 1973. Our WSC Production Division performs work for a variety of industries, primarily as a Tier I and Tier II ISO Certified supplier to the automotive industry. WSC Production is the backbone of our company, making it possible to change lives through employment opportunities.
WSC Production provides assembly, kitting, packaging, sorting, light machining, manufacturing of picture frames, inspection and warehousing and distribution services. We take pride in our ability to meet the flexible release schedules of our customers by utilizing our staffing division, WSC Staffing, who also provide services to a broad customer base of major manufacturers.
WSC is ISO 9001 Certified and takes pride in our quality and customer service performance. Each objective is monitored through specific performance indicators. The information gathered is communicated and reviewed regularly to evaluate the effectiveness of the QMS, identify opportunities for improvement and foster accountability throughout our organization.
